Hello there all anglers new to forum love ice fishin on bay daily when hard water salmon all summer port elgin. Stopped by Erics shop thanks for all youre help and see ya tomorrow . Tight Lines to all

Welcome Stompy. How has the Salmon fishing been lately up Port Elgin/Kincardine way. I stopped fishing the spring and summer derbies about 5 years back because all we were catching were grease balls and lots of them. If you did happen to hook a Salmon it looked as though it was from Biafra

youre right on the money there somethings wrong with the salmon fishin numbers our way down and not getting big fish

would grease ball's be laker's.heard someone saying that before but can't remember what species they were talking about.

lol are they not good to eat?i know someone who fishes lake trout and he smoke's them but i have never tried it yet.
