Hi all,

I thought I would say hi, I'm new to this site but not new to fishing. I have 16.5' bowrider and always wanted to learn more about Erie. I've wanted to fish Erie for a few years now but I'm always unsure of the seas. I do most of my fishing on Lake "O". I hpoe to brave up and head to Erie and start posting on a regular basis.

Jim

Welcome to skunked. First before you drive all the way down here check out wind finder.com [port stanley weather bouy] if it looks good come on down to port bruce for some great perch fishing. But remember this lake can change BIG time in 1/2 hour if the weather goes bad.....

If you know how to handle your boat and what it is capable of, and you have a radio and GPS unit then the answer is yes. I would not personally go out on the lake without a radio and GPS unit.
