i dont know, the forecast shows 0 or just below till next thurs for the high so far. we will need some really cold lows to save the ice

Not to worry, I love to fish but there's no way I'm goin for a swim for a couple perch, I'll definitely be waiting till it firms up

With all the blowouts in the past 24 hours, I wouldn't trust any ice, no matter how cold it stays, for at least a week or more. Going to need that time for the water to clear up anyway. Even then I'd be spudding like a mad thing first time out, and I wouldn't venture far either.
