Guides and Outfitters |
|
I am a little reluctant to post this, please don't think I am taking a shot at anyone or being an arrogant dick but I have a suggestion for all guides, outfitters, shop owners. You should always have in your back pocket a list of people you can trust and work with such as hotels, good places to eat and associates. I have just spent the past several days trying to book a guided fishing day for my wife and I. We needed a hotel or motel, something simple that takes dogs, we needed a dog day care and of course a guide. I failed to find these things. I was a guide for over thirty years, I owned my own lodge and I booked trips for people from all over the planet so I know the business. I am fully aware that at times you will get requests for much more than simple guiding and I am sure you do a good job. Had I worked harder I might have been able to come up with what I needed but I am not familiar with the area we wanted to fish and a good list of associates would have been very helpful.
