is there not a company out there that can help/do the inspection and documentation for you? The more I read the more I second guess myself and the more confused I get. I have the required courses in now I'm trying to get the boat up to muster. Is there a logical procedure ?

Government works slow. I have been waiting for my 2011 TC decal since March, and my one for the Michigan side to charter over in their waters since April. How hard can mailing a decal be? As for your question, I don't know of any like that, and TC doesn't have enough man power.

You can download all the forms you need from TC website under Marine. It is not that hard to do it yourself.
