Bass Hash |
|
Checked out this recipe online, and thought I'd post it.
I usually only keep a Bass or two a year for my girlfriend to eat, but this recipe sounds good. Believe one could substitute different types of fish.
Bass Hash
Wow, talk about a breakfast to remember! This one will fuel you for a full day in the outdoors.
Ingredients:
1 pound hash browns (thawed and drained)
½ cup red pepper (diced)
½ cup green pepper (diced)
½ cup onion (diced)
½ cup cooked bass (flaked)
oil
4 slices bacon
Salt & pepper to taste
Directions:
Cook bacon until brown and set aside.
Saute onions in the bacon drippings, then add hash browns and the red & green peppers.
When the hash browns are done, crumble in bacon and add your pre-cooked/flaked bass.
Finish heating and serve with eggs.
