More nice weather to come

Anyone taking vacation time this week made the right choice, said Environment Canada meteorologist Jeff Coulson.
"This next stretch of weather will be one of the nicest we've had all summer," he said. "A prime opportunity to get out there and enjoy the summer weather."
After a series of thunderstorms and record-breaking rainfall, Coulson said the next couple of days should be a much-needed relief for Sarnia-Lambton residents.
"For the first time in a while, we'll see four days of sunshine," he said, adding that temperatures are expected to be at or above normal today through Friday.
"It will be very comfortable; not a lot of humidity."
Wednesday's high is expected to sit around 26 C with Thursday and Friday's high around 29 C.
The normal high for the area at this time of year is about 26 C.
The weekend outlook isn't too bad either, he said, with a mix of sun and cloud expected, and temperatures in the high 20's.
Coulson, who lives in Mississauga, said he sympathizes with southwestern Ontario residents who have endured the summer's severe weather.
"I've never seen so many thunderstorms in one summer," he said.
This summer, June and July were doused with 287.4 millimetres of rain, the wettest period for those two months since record-keeping began in 1882.
