Still below 0 here, just going to flood the rink today, cold tonight and tomorrow..... Why does the Weather Network have disagree with every other long term model out there.... Here is why they use out dated equipment. They are never reliable.... The average US TV station has more resources and better equipment including Doppler Radar, the weather network which claims to be a national weather resource is run out of Hamilton in a shoe string budget can never seem to get it right. I'll stick with Rich Luterman on Fox 2... He says no worries you'll see tomorrow morning. Some rivers and creks that have a current may suffer a bit today but all will be well.... Bruce it is December it is only going to get colder any fool knows that. Very Happy

Eric, 37 degrees and pouring rain here right now. Going to be in the mid 40's today. Doesn't look good for Lake St. Clair!

One thing about the Bay is it was piled up the further you out you looked meaning the ice was formed during heavy wind. If anything this will help smooth it out. As for the pond, I think we'll actually be in better shape. Ever have an ice rink when you were a kid? This is just like flooding a rink. River and canals that were frozen that have current will suffer and you should always use X-Treme Caution when around them.

Eric
