Hello! I am the Pirate's wife. I used to be his fishing buddy until pregnancy/motherhood has grounded me. He was pretty bummed his site blew up so I thought I would join in and help him build it up. I thank you all for filing this site with useful and entertaining info.

Don't worry about the pregnancy and motherhood thing getting in the way for too long.
Get that little one out this summer and let her see how great fishing can be.
Once she's hooked there will plenty of fun family outings.
my daughter started fishing at 6, and this year she took big fish for the season and put here parents to shame

My wife is a go for Erie this summer. She wants to catch big fish too. Can't wait. Its fun to fish but its a lot of fun to put your wife and relatives on to fish and see them reel in some nice ones.

I have not fished with more than 4 on my boat but I bet we could squeeze 6......... 12 rods? Looks like Stefan will be busy!
