Geneva's Venison Supreme |

This is my grandmothers recipe and my adaptation of her measurements, a pinch of this, and a handful of that.
2 lbs. venison, cut in bite sized cubes
3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1-16oz can beef broth
1 cup red wine
1 cup water
Mix flour, pepper and garlic powder in a plastic baggie. Add meat a handful at at time and shake to coat.
Mix onion soup mix, broth wine and water in a Crockpot, then add meat and remaining flour.
Cook on high for 4 hours, reduce heat to low for 2 hours for gravy to thicken.
Grandma used to serve this with mashed potatoes, and sometimes over noodles. It works well with any red meat, very filling.
