Hi |

Hi, I'm a new member. I recently discovered the Rondeau Bay area and have decided that I've neglected my love for fishing for far too long. Although I've been fishing since before I could walk, I'm completely unfamiliar with any techniques related to Lake Erie or Rondeau Bay itself. My fondest memories are the countless hours I spent anchored, drifting, or trolling around Rice Lake as a boy. No electronics, padded seats, or a million dollars in tackle. Just the basics and a little good luck. My son is now 13 and if it's not too late, I'd like to make a few more good memories with him this summer (no mp3 players allowed in the boat). To this day, if I find myself unable to turn off my brain and fall asleep, I just remember the sound of the waves tapping on that old Sears 12 footer, and the rythmic misfire of Grandads well worn Evinrude. ................. My wife doesn't understand. Anyways, I don't have much advice to share, but I'm looking forward to ANY advice you could share. Thanks, I'm glad I found Skunked

Welcome aboard...
You have the best possible reason to reacquaint yourself with fishing. You are in one of the greatest fresh water fishing areas! Best of luck to you and your boy.
