hey all
new to the board, kinda new to fishing....other than the odd twin lakes fishing trips as a kid.
looking to learn how to catch pickerel in the mouth (got a boat) as well as down around stag island and test my luck with some Bass.
i'm sure i'll ask again closer to the summer once the boats in the water about techniques and what to use etc.
anybody take newbies out and show them how to catch pickerel in the mouth?? I'd love to learn...been out about 5 or 6 times, caught nothing
lookin for one of you pros to set me straight!
thanks

Come by the Skunked Booth at the Expo! We will help you in your quest for local walleye. I am sure one of us will get you out and show you the ropes!

Welcome Chiz,
Yes please stop by the Expo. There will be many skunks from Sarnia to Belle River to Windsor and all parts of Michigan. Some of the members of this forum are doing seminars too.
As far as Walleye at the mouth sure hang out here and when it gets closer you can get tips here and very likely a seat on a boat and someone to show you how. That's what got me started. I am no expert but we are usually able to catch fish.

Hey Rookie, me wife and I moved here last fall, we are fishing fanatics. I have not met all of my fellow Skunks yet bot on line they are a great bunch of people, everyone. They are even greater off line so we have discovered. Get to Expo and introduce yourself.
