I am going to st Clair the 1st week in October. Mainly always wanted to catch a Pike and a Musky. walleye I can handle but the other 2 I am clueless. we are stay at Rochester Place on the south side. Any info on bait shops, what baits to buy, where to go look for fish, gps co ords would be great! Any helpful tip other than leave the wife at home (already taken care of this trip lol) would be wonderful! thanx

Rick.....hello... You are in good hands here... When guys like Fisheye and other (locals) that fish this water all the time see your post you will have ALL the help and info you need the hunt for Musky...From my limited fishing on that lake -(4 times a year) I have had luck with black and orange inline spinners(11 to13in) and also Perch shadraps//Woodie baits-perch /walleye/black sucker//Woodies are a local bait which you can buy there and i think you should to up your odds...I like to troll from 3.9//4.2 //then 5.0 BUT everyone is different...Good luck/////have fun/// i hope you get one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Welcome Ricky !

check out the Lake St Clair section. If you don't find what you need on the existing threads, toss up one asking for something more specific. We're always happy to help here at Skunked. Very Happy
