Just a bit about myself im over half a 100 in age and have an extensive background in chasing elusive spiecies (fish with fins )
I have fished all over North America i have guided most rivers in SW Ontario that have runs of Steelhead and Salmon in my prime i fished roughly 250-300 days a year.
I have targeted Steelhead and Salmon and gave up on the rest for the past 20 years not that theres anything wrong with the other fish its just these 2 spiecies have me hooked,I have fished pretty much everyway that is legal that i know of for them so i hope i can help with some of the questions,also i have a vast knowledge on watersheds and the demize of our water sources so please ask any questions and if i can help i will

ahhhh come on... you telling me you don't sneak down for the odd maitland smallie ??   steelhead and smallies are my focus and have been since introduced to the maitland back in the late 80's. i've since re-discovered the joy in pinning for carp in the thames  .
anyways welcome to the board and thanks for sharing your knowledge of the maitland
