Just found this site a couple of days ago, it is so much better than any other site I have used for staying in the know in the SW Ontario area, GREAT JOB GUYS! I moved to Sarnia a few years ago and enjoy fishing a lot, I've been accused of fishing 8 days a week. It doesn't matter if it is through the ice, with a flyrod, float fishing for salmonoids, top water pike and bass or just putting in some time catching whatever swims I love fishing. Some of my regular haunts are the warm water outlets around Sarnia, Floodway through the ice, under the bridge, Sarnia Bay in the spring and the Ganny, Saugeen, Maitland and 9 Mile. I practice CPR faithfully as I don't eat fish, if anybody would like to add their name to the list of people willing to take some perch this time of year feel free, the fun part is catching them. I would like to meet some of the regulars on here and maybe fish together sometime, I'm sure we've seen eachother somewhere before. Anyway thanks guys and I look forward to meeting some skunks out on the water.
P.S.- Fished the floodway both Sat and Sun with a lot of small ones, but managed about 15 keepers (not as good as previous years) and 1 monster pike! The biggest I've seen in the floodway through the ice, maybe that's why the perch weren't hot n heavy?
